Before becoming a professional writer, screenwriter Christelle Berthevas taught literature and general culture. A graduate of the European Audiovisual Writing Conservatory, her first collaboration with Arnaud des Pallières was the adaptation of Michael Kohlhass (2013), screened at the official competition of the 66th Cannes Film Festival and the winner of two Cesar awards. Together they then co-wrote Orpheline (2016), screened in several festivals and awarded the Bayard d’Or at the FIFFNamur. Continuing her collaboration with Arnaud des Pallières in 2018, she finished the writing of Un homme disparaît and began a new project co-writing a historical film. Concurrently she is working on an adaptation of a children’s film and various literary projects.
