Isabelle Danel

Born in 1962, Isabelle Danel has worked as a journalist since 1982. Specialising in cinema, she has worked for Télérama, L’événement, Rolling Stone and Première, and currently writes for Les Fiches du Cinéma and Bande-à-part.fr. She is the author of numerous books, including: En haut des marches, le Cinéma, Conversation avec Robert Guédiguian, Marilyn Monroe de A à Z (Tana) and Bluwal, pionnier de la télévision. President of the French Trade Union of Film Critics from June 2013 to June 2019, since May 2018 she is President of the FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics).
