Children and War

Far from the simple image of a passive victim and collateral damage, children in film always provide a different vision of the reality of conflicts, in tension between the harshness, the violence and the absurdity of these situations, and also often demonstrating a resilience, a capacity for adaptation and a hold on the power of the imagination which adults have long since lost.
