Niels Schneider is a Franco-Canadian actor and filmmaker. Born in Paris in 1987, he began his career in dubbing. He landed his first roles in Quebec, with noteworthy appearances in I Killed My Mother (2006) and Heartbeats (2010) by Xavier Dolan.
Niels Schneider returned to France, working mainly in independent productions. He won the César Award for Most Promising Actor in 2017 for his lead role in the thriller Dark Inclusion. Niels has been regularly working in the theatre for the past decade, acting in a wide variety of repertoires.
In 2022, he directed and wrote the screenplay for the short film, Le Rite.
