With Massimo Popolizio, Frank Matano
Present day Rome. Eighty years after his death, Benito Mussolini reappears in Piazza Vittorio. Andrea Canaletti, a young documentary maker full of ambition but with little success so far, accidentally films his return. Convinced that it is an impersonator, he decides to make a documentary about the dictator. This is the beginning of a surreal journey through Italy that even takes them onto television. As the figure of the Duce becomes popular again, Mussolini believes that he can once again rule the country.
